When Johan s ö derlund was doing his graduation project for his master's degree in industrial economics, he saw a vacancy in elpress in kramforsh. This was four years ago. Johan's product manager now works like the sun at noon.

Johan has no idea what kind of company elpress is or what products they produce, so he must study it before the first job interview. He was a little surprised to find that elpress was an international company with global customers.

Johan said, "all products of elpress are produced in kramforsh and have their own laboratory, which interests me very much.". This company looks very attractive. Johan saw the great development and learning opportunities after getting this job, and he did get this job.

As a product manager, his tasks mainly include the development and maintenance of elpress product series, product release and other project management. Johan is responsible for the elpress PIM system (product information management), which is a database containing all product information such as images, texts, documents, etc. The system provides information to various outlets (including our catalogue and website).

What is the most "surprising" thing you learned about elpress products?

It has always been clear that elpress has always maintained high quality. But I think the most surprising thing is elpress's quite unique business philosophy "system elpress", which is based on a system solution (all parts must be approved). In particular, the high flexibility and rich knowledge within the company ensure that the company has the ability to provide high-quality and customized products to customers who need special solutions. In addition, it is also surprising that elpress has its own laboratory in kramfosh, and all products are tested and approved according to the latest standards.

Do you have any plans for the future?

I am very happy to work at elpress as a product manager! Due to the diversity of my work, I have many contact points inside and outside the company, which is something I find very interesting. I am also very happy to continue to engage in this profession in the future. In the current context of COVID-19, we are trying to adapt, and everything has become more "digital", which means that other ways of contact are taking shape. In order to enhance the popularity of our products, we began to strengthen product promotion and provide our customers and potential customers with a large amount of information and mobile materials. So there are more webinars and data work. The combination of customer contact and marketing is very interesting! Some things related to this make me want to continue to work hard!

If you were given the opportunity to choose a job or company at will, what would you choose?

My dream is to become a musician, which is a very beautiful thing! But if I can't realize this wish, I will also be very satisfied with my current job, so product manager may be my future career In the future, I may become a product manager of a guitar manufacturer like Gibson!

What do you do in your spare time?

I've been sticking to my exercise plan, whether it's running or weight training, because this is what I like to do! In fact, I just understood this trend of padel, which is an interesting sport, even for novices like me

So! But I also did a lot of guitar playing and rehearsal, because I played in a heavy metal band in my spare time!

I think, for most people, I have never heard of it in the band! I have also tried Yoga several times. Maybe it's not like the work of "heavy metal" band, but I blame my partner for this!
